MAPFRE is the only Spanish insurer present at ITC Vegas for the second consecutive year

MAPFRE will be present at ITC Vegas, the world’s largest innovation happening in the insurance sector, where more than 10,000 people are expected to descend on Las Vegas from October 14 to 16. The multinational will be the only Spanish company at the event, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and the future of the industry across all territories it operates in.

The insurer has boosted its participation in several key areas at a time when it has just announced a new innovation model as part of its efforts to continue leading the sector’s transformation and providing the best customer service to its policyholders.

MAPFRE will kick off its participation on October 14 with Carlos Cendra, scouting and investment lead at MAPFRE, as part of a session that will be held on the main stage of ITC Latam, a space dedicated to Latin America. The focus will be how on how social impact partnerships can help reduce the insurance gap in the region. MAPFRE is the largest multinational insurer in Latin America and is playing a leading role in this transformation process.

Later that morning, MAPFRE will be at the Pan-American Insurtech Alliance space to talk about its recent investment in Blue Marble. María Navarro, group head of Innovation, will analyze the role of parametric insurance in supporting disadvantaged populations in Latin America, as part of a panel discussion alongside Hugues Bertin, CEO and president of Digital Insurance LATAM and AIP, and Jaime de Piniés, CEO of Blue Marble.

On October 14 and 15, José Luis Bernal, chief digital, data and innovation officer at MAPFRE USA, will be on hand to discuss digital transformation in the insurance sector and the use of generative artificial intelligence, specifically addressing key topics like data conversion and collaboration with startups in high-impact innovation strategies.

Finally, Anurag Bairathi, chief claims officer at MAPFRE USA, will conclude MAPFRE’s participation in ITC Vegas on October 15 with a roundtable discussion on Instant Payments, Smart Decisions, and the Future of Claims Innovation.
